Hello!

My design inspiration and direction culminates from several areas. Originally from New England, I earned my bachelors in fine arts, with a focus in oil painting and ceramic sculptures, including a semester abroad in Orvieto, Italy. Shortly after graduation, I worked for five years as a professional furniture finisher using numerous techniques on custom made and antique pieces and did unique decorative paintings on furniture and in people's homes. Now, living in the Pacific Northwest over 15 years I have worked in the health sciences as well as in tile, stone and lighting design stores. I also draw inspiration from the natural beauty surrounding me on the Olympic Peninsula and enjoy bringing elements of nature into the home, enhancing our physical and mental wellbeing.
